Why make Homemade Beauty Products?

Making your own homemade beauty products has numerous benefits. Avoiding dangerous and harmful chemicals off your body while you can save huge amounts of money, you could spend otherwise.

You can make homemade soaps, lotions, makeup, fragrances and much more, just as good as the ones you buy commercially.  This way you are also helping the environment by reducing waste from packaging. Reuse glass containers and save money.

Below I am sharing some simple and effective recipes for common issues. Hope you adopt or get used to doing some of them for your own benefits and for the environment

Do-It-Yourself Beauty Treatments

While the ingredients on beauty products are listed on the back, some chemicals are hidden or not listed at all. Some of these dangerous chemicals like pthalates, formaldehyde, parabens which cause chronic diseases like cancers, tumors and skin diseases amongst others.

Making homemade beauty products does not require harming and testing on animals. Chemicals get flushed down in drains which end up in our rivers, seas killing hundreds of creatures.

Start adopting this approach and you will gain more than extra bucks in your pocket. You can decorate the jars and give out as genuine and unique gifts.

Producing your own homemade beauty products helps:

  • your pocket - you will save big bucks if you frequently buy skincare products. Remember you work hard to earn a living.....dont give it to big companies. Natural ingredients cost nothing compared to what you pay for commercial ones.
  • the enivornment - getting green will preserve the world for our own and future use. Reducing waste, recycling and materials. Reuse.
  • safer ingredients - not containing any dangerous chemicals like you find in commercial products
  • quick to do - can be done in 2 minutes or done in batches for later use. Can be given as gifts.
